Acesso Livre is a research group registered in the CNPq Research Group Directory. It develops theoretical, descriptive and case studies in the fields of audiovisual translation and artistic and cultural accessibility–cinema, television, photography, video games, theater, etc.–for people with sensory diversity. The group is linked to the Center for Assistive Technology, Accessibility and Inclusion (NTAAI) of UnB, created within the framework of the Brazilian government’s Plano Viver sem Limites (Living without Limits Plan). Our team includes professors, technicians and undergraduate and graduate students from different areas, such as Communication, Linguistics, Applied Foreign Languages and Translation Studies.

-Audiovisual accessibility: audio description, subtitling and sign language window;

-Museum accessibility;

-Sign languages and technologies;

-Politics, Technologies and Communication Languages for Accessibility;

-Audiovisual Translation, Accessibility and Multilingualism.
