The group is linked to the Center for Assistive Technology, Accessibility and Innovation (NTAAI), from Universidade de Brasília, created in 2011 within the framework of the Brazilian government’s Plano Viver sem Limites (Living without Limits Plan), aimed to develop technologies capable of helping people with functional diversity, the initiative brings together students and professionals from various areas, such as Engineering, Languages and Physics.

The center is part of the Brazilian National Network of Research, Development and Innovation in Assistive Technology.
